The lovely poem Mom gave to me for my birthday
As I stitch, I reminisce,
My little Chinna, I always miss.
My question was, Another baby so soon?"
Her Dad said "It's ok we've got room."
Soon after, a sad reality, I'd say,
Of "The Lord giveth & taketh away."
All babies a blessing, this one blessing plus,
Great joy through the tears, how pretty she was.
From her first breath, in hands direct from heaven,
She was held by her Gaurdian Angel 24/7.
She jabbered every minute, no rest for the ear.
Spoke fluently early, her opinions so clear.
Curiosity, independence, her personality so glad,
"I'm the baby, spoiled rotten- don't like it?- too bad!!!
Her life now dedicated to other's babies health,
A career so impotant, but doesn't bring wealth.
Her caring ways have an impact on all.
One favorite pastime, a trip to the mall.
Her sense of humor so quick- no need to think,
Full of fun, great company, she's truly pink.
She's such a "big girl", like an eagle she'll soar,
My love for her could never be more.
To that little girl that I miss every day,
Her loving Mom, I always will stay.

Soooooo beautiful!! Makes me tear up every time!!
I love it...it is so beautiful and so true.
PS. I tagged you on my blog. You have to write 5 weird things about yourself. Sorry.
I know I got tagged but that's only because fat kids can't run fast so this game of tag isn't very fair.
That's a pretty cool poem, TiVo. Are poeticizing skills hereditary? Do you have them too?
Beautiful, sniff, especially the part about jabbering every minute and ears falling off and stuff.
That auntie she really knows how to pull a tear right from a girls eye socket!! LOVE HER!!
Tanya?
Sorry for being a snot but this must be said.
