The Kober Tradition Continues on..

World meet Jackson Alan VanOefflen. He is the newest member of our Kober family. His parents are Jeff and Rachel. He keeps the Kober tradition living on by being the first born male in his family. Alvan and Ida Mae (my mother's parents) have four children, each of their children have three children. They all have a male born first followed by two females. The next generation has also followed this bizarre birth order and pictured here is my brother Travis and his son Ricky with Jackson, our new cousin. Ricky and Jackson are also first born males in this generation. Oh man am I confused.

The good old days

Once upon a time I was a nanny for Tim and Dana Cowen. They have three beautiful little children; Liam, Quinlan, and Ella (yes, you guessed it they are indeed irish). Dana and I thought it might be fun to visit the zoo together since we miss the good old days when we where able to hang out and play all day long when I was a nanny.
My friend Amanda White, her brother Rob and their cousin Katie joined us as well. Katie is sitting with Liam on the far right and Ella is on the middle barrel. Quinlan and I discuss often how much we miss our times together. He once said to me "Tanya I think about you everyday." Talk about melt my heart. I appreciate all the special memories I have to take with me wherever I go.

I really cherish this picture. This picture really shows me how much these children have grown since they came into my life. Liam was 2, Quinlan was 8 weeks, and Ella was a mere dream. I am so proud of them. Here they are buying their own ice cream all by themselves. It cracks me up how much Quinlan loves ice cream just like his Grandpa Mike did. I love it!
