I just recently finished this novel called The Kite Runner. It was a FABULOUS book! I never imagined that I would enjoy a tale such as this. It makes me feel more educated or smartable (if you will, oh I will) about the Aghgani culture. My heart goes out to the people of that culture. It was a sugar free (a bit violent) version of the life of a young man who was born and raised in Aghganistan. Please read and we will discuss over coffee or tea if you prefer.

I read it for my human diversity class. I was the only person in class who was not moved beyond words by this book.

It was a decent read, but nothing I would write home about.

Am I wrong about this, am I somehow morally corrupt?

Unta Joe,I don't know if you are morally corrupt but I am a bit taken back by the fact that you didn't enjoy this book. I just thought you had a much softer heart that's all!
